The Spice Bazaar (or Egyptian Bazaar) is situated right next to Yeni Cami. You will be welcomed by the salesmen of the spice shops in your own language and be offered small samples to taste. Take your time, visit the covered spice bazaar and taste whatever you like, though you are not obliged to buy you can not resist to the different tastes offered.

Besides spices and sweets, you can shop for souvenirs such as tiles, baskets and textiles.

If it is lunch time ask for Pandeli Restaurant, it is a bit on the expensive side but really delicious.
