Tophane

Tophane is located in Beyoglu,on the European side of Istanbulon the coast of Bosphorus.It was an industrial district of Istanbul in the Ottoman time.Tophane building was built by the order of Fatih Sultan Mehmet for canon production. Nusretiye mosque,Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Tophane fountain and Tophane Mansion are the historical places of Tophane.Water pipe cafes and American Bazaar are the attraction points of Tophane.
